December 2021
Where has the year gone? We are grateful that God has brought us through another year. Not only have we been working to begin an aviation ministry in Nicaragua, but we had to unite together as Nancy faced both breast and thyroid cancer with multiple surgeries taking place. The recovery has seemed slow at times, but we are so very grateful for the enduring peace that God gives us and for all of you who have prayed so faithfully for us. As we write this letter we are in Costa Rica where Nancy is having cancer follow up appointments and we are praising God that she remains cancer free.
Blessings Abound
Even though Nancy's health care has taken much of our attention this year we can see how God has blessed our efforts in Nicaragua.
In June we were overjoyed when our two children, Melanie and Steven, joined us after graduating from Fountainview Academy in British Columbia. Being full of energy, they got right to work and we are grateful to see that God has blessed their efforts. Melanie became MiracleAir's first student missionary, working with local dentists to bring dentalcare and education to hundreds of children and adults throughout Nicaragua. She has even become part of a dental team that provides care to remote communities along the coast using a catamaran carrying up to 10 people called the Caribbean Grace.
Steven has continued to develop his video editing skills and is telling our stories in a new and exciting video format we can use on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
We are so grateful for God's goodness to us and we can't wait to see what He will do in the new year!!!

A New YouTube Channel
Steven has been busy creating new videos and consolidating existing videos to our new YouTube Channel. In addition, Andrew Hosford, will be joining us in Nicaragua in January. With his extensive experience in media we are very excited about telling our stories in a more compelling way.

Melanie's Mission
Melanie has been blessed with the opportunity to be a part of 4 major dental mission trips this year where she assisted the dental teams in treating over 250 patients. Her most recent trip was on the Caribbean Grace, a catamaran dedicated to bringing dental help to remote communities along the rivers and lagoons of the Caribbean coast.
She has also been a part of educating over 200 children on proper oral home care. Through the process, she has been trained in performing dental cleanings, assisting the dentist to perform extractions, and properly sterilizing the instruments. She is excited to see how God has led her and will continue to guide her as she serves the people of Nicaragua.
