On our way...

'I will go before you and make the crooked places straight; I will break in pieces the gates of bronze and cut the bars of iron.'

Isaiah 45:2

Dear Friends,
Our hearts are filled with gratitude as we write this newsletter. God has indeed heard our prayers and opened a way for us to return to the mission field. We are now scheduled to fly to the Philippines on February 15th.

I can hear many of you saying, “The Philippines? I thought you were going to be based in Fiji?”  Yes, that is true, but it turns out that AngelOne is shipping a helicopter to PAMAS (Philippine Adventist Mission Aviation Service) in the Philippines and is able to include our plane in the shipment at no additional cost. It will ultimately be much closer to Fiji.

Also, while all this is happening Norman will be able to fly in the Philippines and build additional time and experience. We will also be able to learn so much from PAMAS as to what is involved in the operation of an airbase. Then, when the plane is assembled we will be able to fly the Bush Hawk to Fiji and continue developing the first ever mission airbase there.

As we write this newsletter our departure date is only three weeks away and there is still much to be done. Norman is flying again and preparing for his Instrument Proficiency Check ride that is required every two years.

We are thrilled to see how God has worked out the details in ways we could never have imagined and as a bonus we are so blessed that our son Andrew will be accompanying us for the first few months. Please continue to pray for MiracleAir, the Bible workers in Nicaragua, the needs in Fiji and for our family as we step out once again in faith trusting God’s leading.

Wishing you God's richest Blessings,

Norman & Nancy Hansen
